This book is authored by Abdul Hameed alias A Hameed who is best known for his Urdu books and novels. He is one of the most popular Urdu novelists in Pakistan. Since Abdul Hameed is best known for Urdu novels that is why many people think this book is a novel but this is not a novel because Sang-e-Dost Urdu book is a very interesting and beautiful collection of short Urdu stories about the author's friend, there is no fiction in this book.
